About Us
Together, We’re Creating a Brighter, More Environmentally Connected Future.

Since our founding in 2015 as a grassroots community association, Abilities Together CIC has been dedicated to driving positive change in our community. In 2023, we proudly transitioned into a Community Interest Company, marking a significant milestone in our journey and reflecting the growing impact of our work.

What began as a mission to reconnect people with nature has blossomed into a movement. From creating flourishing community gardens to spearheading allotment projects, we’ve empowered residents to transform local green spaces into vibrant hubs of collaboration and connection. By working alongside councillors and ward officers, we’ve fostered a shared sense of ownership and pride in our environment.

Our reputation for meaningful, community-led initiatives continues to grow. Through impactful partnerships with organizations like the Bradford Institute for Health Research and delivering council-funded projects, we’ve demonstrated the power of collaboration to inspire change.

At Abilities Together CIC, we believe in the strength of collective action. Today, we’re committed to empowering individuals and communities to thrive, fostering innovation, and nurturing a shared love for the environment. Together, we’re creating a brighter, more connected future for everyone.
